Award-winning Zimbabwean vocalist and contemporary Christian artist, Vuyo Brown, has released her latest album, Imprint, a genre-bending 21- track body of work that explores the singer’s vocal strengths.

Imprint is structured in three distinct sonic sections: PINK, ORANGE, and YELLOW. The colours group similar sounds together. PINK is reverential and reflective, comprised of praise and worship songs. ORANGE is alternative and warm, blending alternative, jazz, and country sounds. YELLOW is light and bouncy, rooted in R&B, soul, and Afro-pop.

Each section concludes with a spoken word ode. PINK closes with an ode by Chioniso Tsikisayi, ORANGE by Flaming Lily, and YELLOW by Yolanda Ngwenya.

Imprint features collaborations with JustPercy, Vusa Mkhaya, and rapper Swazy. The album was produced by Vuyo Brown, composed and engineered by JustPercy and Stones Moyo

True to its title and grounded in Isaiah 43v1, Imprint explores identity and choice.
Vuyo is asking the question, “Who does God say you are and what do you think about it?”

“Choosing and jumping onto Jesus in a flood of voices and opinions is something I celebrate in today’s generation,” said Vuyo.

Imprint is currently available for direct purchase from Vuyo Brown. Details on how to buy are available on her social media platforms: X, Instagram and Facebook.
