DStv has announced that the Zimpapers owned TV channel, ZTN Prime, will be leaving its platform on September 30.

“Dear DStv customer, please be advised that ZTN Prime will no longer be available from 30 September 2026 at 23:59 CAT,” reads a statement sent to Zimbabwean account holders by DStv.

This announcement comes as the parent company has announced a restructuring exercise as part of its ongoing transformation into a sustainable, digital-first media organisation.

Although it has struggled in achieving profitability ZTN Prime has been a breath of fresh air on the Zimbabwean TV space. It broke ZBC TV’s monopoly on the sector alongside 3Ktv, Bulawayo-based Keyona TV and NRtv.
