Harare is set to come alive with music as Zimbabwe’s biggest festival returns for its 2026 edition. Ngoma Nehosho’s Jacaranda Music Festival will be taking over Thornpark Polo Club for 3 days, running from 2 to 5 October.
Driven by the mantra “The music, the people, the city,” the festival will once again bring together music, food, fashion and culture. This will be the event’s 8th edition, and it is one that not only celebrates Zimbabwe’s music stars but regional talents and the country’s rising names.
Friday’s all local lineup will be led by talented songstress Tamy Moyo, mbira music’s most important propent Jah Prayzah, and gifted ensemble The Travellers Band.
Saturday will be graced by amapiano’s finest in Njelic and Jazziq, alongside Zimdancehall’s reigning king Jnr Spragga and a woman shifting the Zimbabwean music landscape in Feli Nandi.
The festival will close out Sunday with one of Africa’s most important voices right now in Zee Nxumalo, gifted house music DJ Caiiro, gospel legend Minister Michael Mahendere, and Vic Falls outfit Mokoomba.
This year’s edition will see the launch of the very first ever Jacaranda Business Hub, giving an opportunity for entreprises to host activations, market their products and network on the sidelines of the event. As usual the Jacaranda Music Business Conference will kick off the weekend with presentations and fireside chats on what artists and events need to learn about the space.
