Peggie Shangwa known as Umind?! is a creative entrepreneur, spoken word artist and founder of Page Poetry Alive, a poetry collective that nurtures storytellers from page poets and Spoken word artists.

A writer in her own right, she is the Senior Editor of Groove Magazine International, and a transformational leadership development consultant and facilitator accredited by LASOF, Equip International and YWAM’s University of the Nations (UofN). She was also awarded a certificate by Woman Excel as successful women in Zimbabwe sustaining excellence in turbulent times.

Umind?! was featured on Badhilisha Poetry exchange program, a Pan-African podcast station in Africa, and Indie feed, an online radio podcast station in the U.S.A. She has been published in a poetry exchange program in Nigeria called Silent Voices and in a South African anthology “Speaking in Tongues”.

She has performed on various stages and venues across the globe that include Intwasa Festival, KoBulawayo, ABUJA Litfest Nigeria, Capetown, Apples & Snakes Uk, Harare International Festival Of the Arts (HIFA), Shoko Festival, Call to Worship Zimbabwe, Current State of Poetry JHB, and Slam Emporium PLK.

Apart from performing with the National Ballet of Zimbabwe, Island Breeze International, South Roots International, Dudu Manhenga, Tariro NeGitare and SoProfound, Umind?! has also opened for Grammy-nominated US artist DA’ TRUTH on his Love, Hope, War Tour Africa and shared stage with Deanna Rodgers, Nova and Mandi Poeficient from SA.

In 2015, she launched a clothing line under the Umind?! brand and currently has a merchandise line from wood base jewellery, clothing to personalised poetry frames sold on order.

Her debut Anthology Thuella will be published in 2021.
