Fungai Muzoroza is a budding Zim-based Fashion Designer with a self-proclaimed love for tulle and a signature ode to plus-sized muses. Hot off the heels of her appearance on DStv’s fashion show ‘Battle of The Ankara’ on Honey TV; Fungai, affectionately known as Fuzz Papi has dressed Ammara Brown, Kim Jayde, Yoli Mqoco, Tamy Moyo and MisRed.
We just caught a glimpse of her upcoming collection featuring Erasmus Tatira, Music Artist Tahle WeDzinza, and Award-Winning Poet, Kuda Rice titled Dombojena S2. The initial swimwear collection titled Dombojena Resort which launched in August last year was a celebration of her heritage.
The preview for Dombojena S2 was shot by Conceptual Artist and Photographer, Nashe Art and looks very fly. Fungai seems to step away from her jena/white element and goes for what looks like a darker theme and we’re here for it. There’s a good deal of crocheted elements, what looks like a mix of loungewear and smart wear too.
Sigh, we are teased and can’t wait to see what’s in the rest of this collection!
