The Bible announces in Genesis 2:5,
“And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it GREW: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.”
We live in a generation that is so into miracles, to the degree that the God of the miracles is usually disregarded in his wholesome nature. I sincerely pray that you would follow me this morning. Miracles and God cannot be separated, so the Word dictates that you live a life of miracles. The same God of the miracles, however, is also the God of the principles of law. Miracles in their nature, come to suspend not only natural laws but also the laws and precepts of God…
Genesis 2:17 reads,
“But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely DIE.”
This passage of scripture shows that God passed a law, that man was to die upon eating the forbidden fruit. A man then eats of it and suffers spiritual death, cut off from God. 2000 years ago, the same God that spoke in the Garden, came down and performed a miracle at Calvary that was to disregard the law he passed in Genesis, giving man eternal life.
The Bible also shows us that it was God that created water. In creating water, He placed a natural law of displacement, that when an object is placed on top of the water, molecules part and are displaced by the solid object. A little way down the road, Jesus then comes and walks on water, performing a miracle that temporarily suspended this natural law.
The principle of increase, as given by Genesis 2:5, is that growth is withheld by God in withholding rain because there was not a man to till or work the ground. This proves why the world is richer than the Church. If increase comes to the working man, then the World profits while we prophesy. The world works while we await miracles.
In short, Solomon says it best in Proverbs 10:4,
“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”
I, therefore, stand in the volume of the Word, to declare increase to the working man! May Grace meet you as you work. For Grace is the savour that adds flavour to your labour!!!
