After an epic edition in December, that saw Sha Sha, Tanto Wavie and Hillzy grace the stage, Fiesta Fiesta Zimbabwe has announced their first festival date of the year. The event is set to continue their love affair with the Amapiano. On Saturday the 28th of January, Fiesta Fiesta will open their account for the year with none other than Musa Keys headlining the event.
Musa Makamu popularly known as Musa Keys, is a South African DJ, producer, singer and songwriter. Musa is widely renowned for his dual ability in production and vocal delivery on Amapiano tracks. He has delivered hit songs that include “Samarian Boy” and “Selema (PoPo)”. His debut album TAYO surpassed 25 million streams. Boiler Room (music broadcaster) tipped him to be ‘the next global star on the scene. Forbes also ranked 3rd in 2021, on their list of Top 10 Amapiano Artists.
Established by Chuckie “DJ Chucknosis” Kofi-Teye Ayisha, Fiesta Fiesta is an outdoor event that has been running in Harare for over 4 years now. They’ve had pauses for various reasons like the Covid-19 pandemic within that period but the brains behind the event have always managed to bring it back. They host it once a month when it is running and it always features a long list of some of Zimbabwe’s most talented DJs.
For most of 2022 the event called Alex Sports Club home and it’ll most likely do so again this year. The event has maintained standard tickets at $10 each with an early bird discount of $5.
