Over the past weekend, Domboshava was host to what is being called the wedding of the year. Danielle Allen and Igho Ubiribo tied the note in a lavish ceremony that was coordinated by Exquisite Events. The wedding was an A-list affair as it was attended by the who’s who of Harare and the country’s most famous socialites, it also had international star Davido in attendance.
Social media was abuzz with the conversation on the images & videos from the union. Green was everywhere, which was the theme of Dani & Igho’s wedding and they were memes and so much more. The big boys were in town, is what everyone was saying and the local heroes were said to have been outclassed. A lot of people however were left with the question of who is Dani?
Dani is Danielle Simba Allen, a British-Zimbabwean born to a British father and a Zimbabwean mother. She did her early education in Zimbabwe before moving to London where she attended university. Although being known as a socialite Dani boasts of many talents. She is an award-winning fashion designer who has dressed some of Zimbabwe’s high-profile celebrities like Ammara Brown and Ruvheneko.
Dani has also run multiple businesses in several countries and she is well-traveled. She started a modeling agency with a friend when she was still in London which was one of her first ventures and she followed it up by opening an events company. At one time she was the sole distributor for The Body Shop in Nigeria before she launched a fashion house in Zimbabwe. Dani is rumored to have also dated the late Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure.
