This year’s ZimHipHop Awards ceremony will be taking place on the 15th of December, at 7 Arts Theatre in Harare. Organisers are promising a special event, that will also honour 50 years of the genre.
All the winners will be decided by the adjudication panel, except for the People’s Choice category. R Peels, Bling4 and Holy Ten lead the way with 8 nominations each, while Kayflow and Mlue Jay follow closely behind with 7 nominations a piece. Among the women, Brucella and Banshee are ahead of the rest of the pack with 3 nominations each.
