Zimbabwean actress Sibongile Mlambo will feature on the upcoming Netflix series Florida Man. An upcoming American limited series that is inspired by the viral “Florida Man” meme.
The series was created by Donald Todd, who serves as an executive producer alongside Jason Bateman, Michael Costigan, and Miguel Arteta. It stars Édgar Ramírez, Anthony LaPaglia, Abbey Lee, Otmara Marrero, Lex Scott Davis, Emory Cohen, Sibongile Mlambo, and Isaiah Johnson in the main roles. The series was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina.
It follows one particular man from Florida, Mike Valentine. An ex-cop who also happens to be a recovering gambling addict. Valentine reluctantly returnes to his home state of Florida to find a mobster’s runaway girlfriend. What should’ve been a quick gig turns into a wild odyssey. Mike gets caught up in some situations that would put some of the best “Florida Man” memes to shame.
Florida Man will be available to stream on Netflix starting April 13.

She played the role of Tamora Monroe on the MTV television series Teen Wolf. She was also Donna on the Freeform television series Siren, and voiced Melusi in the Ubisoft multiplayer game Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
