Lloyiso set to headline the inaugural Glow Fest in Harare

South African R&B/Soul singer Lloyiso will be making his first ever performance in Zimbabwe, at the upcoming inaugural edition of the Glow Fest set for this Saturday, the 9th of November.

The festival was initially set to be hosted at Harare Sports Club but the location has now been changed to Newlands Country Club. The South African soul singer is set to be supported by Nyasha David, Shashl, Ishe, Shabach The Band and Melanin Rush. The DJ contingent will feature The Black Arab, Chiweddar, and Chirovamutanda, while ZiFM’s Noxy, will be the host.

Tickets for the event are currently on sale from MedOrange Pharmacies, Chop Chop (Avondale & Chitepo branches), and 7 Rings (Highland Park & Fife Avenue branches).

Lloyiso rose to prominence as a contestant on Idols SA season 11 in 2015. Following his exit from Idols SA, Lloyiso signed a recording deal with Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2018 and a few years later he switched labels to Universal Music Group South Africa and Republic Records.

The singer released his extended play Seasons in 2023, a project that was  produced by Earwulf, Mr. Hudson, and Stargate. The EP earned him 3 nominations at South African Music Awards and won Best Pop Album.
