We got invited to the opening of a new exhibition titled Mupangara Runhare, by a very talented artist named Takunda Regis Billiat. This exhibition consisted of five spiritually themed pieces made from cow horns, telephones and vinyl binding. The pieces will be on exhibition for a whole month. We snapped a few images that you can browse through and below is a statement from the home of the pieces, First Floor Gallery.

“In this exciting new body of work Takunda Regis Billiat tackles the concept and the nature of communication and its permutations from the traditional to the contemporary both in nature and medium. Billiat reaches out to produce complex and challenging sculptural installations reflecting on the dissonance between what people want and need from communication with each other, society and spiritually and what they achieve in contemporary Zimbabwean context.”
