Burning Down the House with Prophecy’s Moto

Most cats don’t pull off Christian hip-hop the way  Zimbabwean Gospel Rapper, Prophecy does.

The swag and the musicality behind all his productions are top-notch! Teaming up with Marbel Madondo in this banger as he reintroduces himself to the game. The track shakes the bones in a way that only Lazarus would understand when Jesus raised him from the dead!

I honestly can’t wait for the visuals that will accompany this track (wink, wink Pro).

One thing I’ve always loved about Prophecy’s music is the way it’s undeniably Zimbabwean. Considering this is somewhat a debut production, the producer Texas outdid himself here. If this isn’t a stomp into the big boys league, I don’t know what is!
That Sungura-esque guitar riff he bases the whole melody on; what a catchy foundation for the track.

Prophecy’s bars complement the beat well! His rhymes are lit and there’s no denying that he’d give most Zim rappers a run for their money.

As always, Marbel’s vocals are rich and the urban vibe she brings with her hook is a work of outstanding artistry. Her talent is almost mythical and she delivers her lines with a draconian approach. It’s honestly a simple hook with straight lyrics but it’s quite impressive.

I could go on and on about how amazing this track is but you’ll need to hear it for yourself to know why.
