Here is great opportunity for women artists in Zimbabwe. Pamberi Trust in conjuction with Collisson Trust and Africalia are hosting a workshop in Harare on the 7th of December. This workshop is part of 5 part workshop series which were held around the country.
The project aims to build knowledge-capital and skills, promote entrepreneurship and contribute to income generation for young and emerging women arts practitioners through a series of capacity-building workshops in marginalised communities (outside the capital Harare).
Targeting young and emerging women arts practitioners from marginalised cultural backgrounds, the project will provide tools and methodologies to enhance their participation in, and contribution towards a more inclusive and therefore more diverse and vibrant cultural sector
Expect to have presentations from Tariro Ne Gitare and Zaza Muchemwa at the Harare workshop. These workshops form a part of Pamberi Trust’s Female Literacy, Arts and Music Enterprise (FLAME) project, which is also home to the ‘Sista’s Open Mic’ platform.
