If you frame your world through camera angles, narrate reality like a movie script, and edit the montage of your life like a film director, you might just be what the MultiChoice Talent Factory is looking for! MultiChoice Africa is calling all aspiring film directors, DOPs, sound guys, and scriptwriters to help ignite Africa’s creative industries.

Launched in May in honour of Africa Month, the MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) is focused on recruiting aspiring African talent in areas of cinematography, film editing, audio production and storytelling. Sixty talented students from 13 African countries will get the chance to hone their film and television production skills alongside industry greats on DStv channels such as the M-Net channels.

MultiChoice Talent Factory graduates will also get to showcase their portfolio of work on the MTF Portal – a database for film professionals across the continent, where they can access job opportunities, keep up to date with industry news, and expand their network. The entry is open to Creatives who have studied or have experience in film, drama, production, direction, engineering, cinematography.

HOW TO ENTER:

Step 1:

Go to www.multichoicetalentfactory.com and register your details with an active email account. Then go to your inbox and wait for a verification email.

Step 2:

Once you have received the verification email, click on the link which will take you back to the MTF website, where you will then click on the ‘Apply’ tab to start the application process.

Step 3:

Once the Apply tab opens, fill in all the required information in ALL the fields (Do not forget to save each stage so that your information remains available to you). Also make sure you include/upload ALL the necessary and required documentation (FORMAT: these can be in PDF or Word doc).

Step 4:

Click Save and Complete the application process.

Step 5:

It’s A Wrap! You will get an email in your inbox to confirm successful registration.
