“Spiritual Fatherhood, Biggest Error That Needs Correction”

Spiritual fathers and sons is one of the most powerful truths in the Bible. It can be a source of great blessing if done properly by the Spirit of God. However, if done in the flesh, it can be one of the most damaging doctrines taught in the church.

South African-based Zimbabwean preacher and leader of The Spirit Life Church, Prophet Jay Israel, explores the healthy aspects of the subject, and address the error in the church that has great potential to hurt believers.

The gospel of spiritual fatherhood has raised a generation of young, lazy, empty, prayerless, wordless and unrepentant sons and daughters who base their faith more in the Spiritual Father than in Christ Jesus. The biggest problem we have is that we do not realize that the spiritual fatherhood gospel has brought a very dangerous spirit of division to the body of Christ. Take a good look at the current state of the church you will realize that we claim to love yet we hate the church next door and we do not want to be associated with the pastor next door because he takes our members. What hypocrisy!

Sons and daughters are taught to stand and fight for the father, defending and attacking anyone who speaks against the father. The funniest thing about it all is that these fights are always amongst so-called believers and fathers term those who fight for them ‘’loyal Sons and Daughters’’. Hell-fire awaits!

Let me tell you; The last person who received a double portion of anointing from a prophet was Elisha and after him, it has never happened again. You can sleep on the floor, wipe the father’s shoes, rub your head on his car, wear all his clothes but hear this you will never receive a double portion as long as you do not have a personal encounter with God. Certain doctrines that have become religion in our Christian circles are actually heresy and they will continue to put us under bondage if they are not confronted.

How many hands of fathers have been laid on you? Did you receive a double portion? Spiritual fatherhood in 2019 is the most fashionable thing where every young pastor even a matric pastor before finishing school already has sons and daughters. This is madness!

Today we have different camps in the body of Christ which are established through the doctrine of spiritual fatherhood. We lift the father’s name more than we lift Jesus. Someone might be wondering why I am speaking in this manner yet I was one of those to do the exact same things I am confronting. When I had an encounter with Christ, he corrected me of all the errors I was also doing as a spiritual son. I heard this clearly that the borders created by the doctrine of fatherhood will be broken as Christ is preparing His bride for His second coming. He told me to help those who are walking the road I walked that it is more important to encounter God personally before you encounter a man for men are just mere men but God is just and he changeth not.

According to my discovery through revelation of the scripture that I will release in the few days to come as a series about fatherhood, I have come to a point of taking a journey of confronting certain demonic doctrines that have taken over the church and because of ignorance, we follow blindly without questioning the source and the scripture behind.

It is time for divisions and factions to be destroyed in the body of Christ.

Families are scattered because they are under different men of cloth. Friends do not see eye to eye because Papa does not agree with the other Papa. This nonsense must stop!

If we are serving the same God we will come to a conclusion of the scripture below and the body of Christ will be united but because of pride and high level of hypocrisy, no one will be able to be humble enough to be called brother.

Matthew 23; 6 they love the place of honour at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7 they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called ‘Rabbi’ by others. 8 but you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one teacher, and you are all brothers. 9 and do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one father, and he is in heaven. 10 nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one instructor, the messiah. 11 the greatest among you will be your servant.

Study the scriptures above and you will realize that Jesus addresses those who want to bear all the big titles as hypocrites and he continues to say you are all brothers in Christ.
