Rev T.T Chivaviro to Release New Album on 43rd birthday

South African-based Zimbabwean award-winning gospel musician  Apostle Reverend  Togarepi Tapera Chivaviro will celebrate his 43rd birthday by releasing his 15th Studio album, entitled  Matishamisa Jireh on January 22.

The offing eight-track project will be launched at Ambassador Hotel, Cnr 2nd and Kwame Nkrumar in Harare from 18:00 to 21:00 hrs. It’s a red carpet event.

Posting on his official Facebook account, the Ebenezer hit-maker confirmed that the album recording was done. He wrote:

‘Recording now done. I thank all the musicians and artists who helped us through voices , fingers (playing) ideas and even those who just passed through the studios to give moral support.The album is surely a product of collective efforts from Mzansi to Zim.22 JANUARY WE DROP OUR 15TH STUDIO ALBUM!!!…’

Matishamisa Jireh follows up his previous album Maranatha, which was released last year. It will feature songs like Matishamisa, It Is Not Over, Jesu Ndanga Ndakurasai, Jesus the Captain, Korona and Mwanangu Teerera among others.

The album, which the Rev described as a celebratory one was made possible through collaboration with Mother General, Peter Mparutsa, Pastor Trymore BandeLorraine Maplanka Stot, Nicholas Chirunga, Pastor Tinashe Murigo, Patience Masiyambiri Mandizha, Rumbi Mparutsa, Pastor Patience Muhomba, Blessing Masanga (Producer), Peter Manzenza and Allan Dzobo, who executively produced it.

After the Harare event the album will also be officially launched in Birmingham UK (Sat 3 Feb), Dubai UAE (Frid 9 Feb) and Germiston South Africa on  Sat 10 February.

And since it is a birthday party meet launch there will be a supper session with Rev and wife Juliet Chabata Chivaviro in the hotel dining area from 20:30 to 21:00 hrs. Meals will be selling from $5.
