The Morgan Heritage group will stay in Zimbabwe for a fortnight for their maiden performance in Harare which has been moved from 14 October to 8 October 2016. The group which is true to it’s title is a family affair composed of the five children of Reggae artist Denroy Morgan, namely Peter “Peetah” Morgan, Una Morgan, Roy “Gramps” Morgan, Nakhamyah “Lukes” Morgan, and Memmalatel “Mr. Mojo” Morgan.
Speaking to #ENTHUSE the organizers said everything was in place and the stage has been set for one of Contemporary Reggae’s most powerful global forces who are enthusiastic about both the visit and the show.
“We are hosting Morgan Heritage in Zimbabwe for a good two weeks, we managed to secure the block booking from the 26th of Sept till the 9th, so we will have the much hyped Gig at the HICC on the 8th the two week block booking is a special request by Morgan Heritage to spend more time beyond just coming to perform. They intend to visit all the exciting places they read about online.”said one of the Organizers
The group’s debut Zimbabwe concert which was scheduled for New Year’s Eve of 2016 at the City Sports Centre was cancelled due to venue problems. This year, the “Don’t haffi Dread” hit makers promise not to disappoint with a growing list of supporting acts such as Oliver Mtukudzi, MC Templeman and Winky D.
