Silent Killer who’s real name is Jimmy Mudereri along with three other suspects are said to have been arrested for the alleged attempted murder of Fantan’s younger brother this past week. On Thursday Dj Fantan told reporters that so far the police had three men in custody for the assault of Tinashe (his brother) that occurred during the early hours of Thursday morning and yesterday another suspect is said to have been picked.
Narrating the situation Fantan said that his mother had initially been told that Tinashe had been murdered and upon hearing that she had contacted him. They had driven to surrounding police stations searching for information but with no luck until officers at one of the stations had suggested driving to the reported scene of the crime to find out more information. They came upon Silent Killer’s residence and found him outside along with several others. When they asked him for Tinashe’s whereabouts he said he was inside, sleeping it off.
They found Tinashe bloodied and bruised and in the ensuing conversation, Silent Killer and two others were arrested. From the bits of information he could pass on in a disoriented state, Tinashe said he was handcuffed and physically assaulted with bricks & rocks. It’s said among the 4 who assaulted him, one claimed to be a police officer.
Speaking on his brother’s condition on Friday Fantan said, “Last night the doctor advised Tinashe to get a CAT scan so they can determine the extent of the injury. The X-ray showed that he had a cracked skull. He was stitched up last night and sent back home.”
Meanwhile, Silent Killer denies the allegations of murder. Three other suspects in the murder case are on the run.
