PHD Ministries leader, Prophet Walter Magaya has been arrested and is appearing at Harare Magistrate’s Court this morning, Mail and Telegraph reported.
Magaya is being charged for contravening Section 41 of the Medicines and Allied Substances Control Act.
The charge relates to Magaya’s unlawful advertisement of an HIV/AIDS and Cancer cure.
Magaya’s company Aretha Medicals is also facing three separate charges of manufacturing medicines without a license and operating a medicinal lab without a license.
The third charge is yet to be disclosed to us.
Prophet Walter Magaya being represented by Everson Chatambudza and is expected to appear before a magistrate once vetting is completed.
