“If We Don’t Pray This Man May Lose His Life”: Zambian Prophet on Tsvangirai

Prophet DD Isaac, a Zambian prophet based in South Africa and  Senior Pastor and founder of Holy Ghost Embassy, DDtv, and the Prophet DD Isaacs Ministry has appealed to his followers and other people from all over the world to pray for the Movement For Democratic Change (MDC-T) leader Morgan Tsvangirai.

The well-manicured man of God said that Tsvangirai’s sickness is an attack from the enemy and if people, particularly the Christian Community, won’t pray for the ailing former Prime Minister he may be in a peril of loosing his dear life.

In his world appeal issued on Wednesday, Prophet Isaac wrote:

‘Last night the Lord spoke to me regarding Morgan Richard Tsvangirai. For those of you who attended the Discipleship Class would know this because I mentioned this in the meeting. I urge you all to pray for Tsvangirai and his family. The report says the man is diagnosed with colon cancer. But the Lord says this is an attack of the enemy, for He is chosen to rule the nation of Zimbabwe. If we don’t pray this man may lose his life. #TakeTimeToPrayForHim…’

The prophet, regardless of his Zambian nationality, seems to have an understanding of who Mr Tsvangirai is. He goes on to say:

‘…For those of you who have no idea who Tsvangirai is, He is a Zimbabwean politician who was Prime Minister of Zimbabwe from 2009 to 2013. He is President of the Movement for Democratic Change – Tsvangirai (MDC-T) and a key figure in the opposition to former President Robert Mugabe.’

The appeal for prayers came after numerous tabloids indicated that Mr Tsvangirai, who was diagnosed with cancer of the colon in 2016, has been making several visits to South Africa for chemotherapy since then. Last week he received a high-profiled visit at his Highlands, Harare, residence by His Excellency President Mnangagwa to check on his health.

On Monday it was reported that he took off yet again to South Africa for another round of check-ups, and despite death hoaxes making rounds on social media, Tsvangirai, says he is responding well to what has been described as a routine medical procedure.
