President Mnangagwa on Friday appointed a leaner 20-person Cabinet, which he described as “diverse, dynamic, youthful and streamlined…with the skills and experience required to achieve our goals”, and African philanthropist, social entrepreneur and wife to Zimbabwe’s first Billionaire Stive Masiyiwa, Tsitsi, has joined the nation in praying for the incoming administration.
Posting on her micro-blog platform Twitter, Tsitsi who has a 163k+ followers, wrote:
“Pray that each one of these leaders will have our nation at heart, be servant leaders who execute on the vision for the nation with courage, integrity, selflessness. As they take the oath of service may they remember they willingly promise to carry the burden for all Zimbabweans.”

President Mnangagwa will today swear in his newly appointed cabinet to come up with policies that can steer the nation out of its prolonged doldrums.
The swearing-in ceremony takes place at the State House.
In the new Cabinet line-up, Mr Mnangagwa dropped several big names from previous administrations, while blending new talent with experience. The dream team is expected to address a host of challenges, from persistent fiscal and balance of payments deficits to infrastructural and social decay accruing from the previous administration.
