Coming from achieving awards glory in hugely criticised National Arts Merit Awards (NAMAs), Bustop TV has announced a new collaborative project that is coming out soon. This crew has been leading the local comedy scene with skits that interrogate all facets of the Zimbabwe life.

It all started as PO Box TV which comprised of Bhutisi, Boss Kedha and Lucky Aaron. However, a misunderstanding caused a split with Boss Kedha and Bhutisi launching PO Box Reloaded and Lucky Aaron rebranding to Bustop TV. In this age of the ‘New Dispensation’ in Zimbabwe, the band is getting back together for a project that they promise is going to blow their fans out of the water.

The collaboration project is between three creative firms Bustop TV, PO Box Reloaded and Dreamstate Pictures. #ENTHUSE spoke to the team leader of Bustop TV, Lucky Aaron who expressed his excitement, stating that the inspiration was to tell another exciting Zimbabwe story at the same time celebrating local art, appreciate other artist’s work and finally to entertain.

“Even us we where more disappointed coz we loved the vibe but God had another plan. We have worked together before and we know each’s strengths. It’s been a while since we have worked together on a project so we are all excited,” Lucky said when asked about working with the other guys again.

Bustop TV is currently home to Gonyeti and Maggie, whose profiles have skyrocketed with Gonyeti being the first comedienne to be nominated for NAMA.
