Twitter has been ripping into Bonang’s book with no mercy at all since its drop. The Book titled From A to B in apparent relation to herself and her beau AKA, was sold out a few hours on Exclusive Books online store after it was put there on pre-order. Ka ching!
However, South African Twitter does not care about the bottom line and they have been savaging the book creating a hashtag called #TweetLikeBonang. Influencers and new tweeps alike have been on it since last night and it seems like there will be no end. It might not be surprising considering the conflicting first line of the book. Bonang claims that she was born on the 24th June in the book but in actual fact, she has been celebrating her birthday on the 25th in the past. She goes on to claim that the 24th of June 1987 was a Thursday in in actual fact it was a Wednesday. We would not expect such errors from a properly edited book. Oh well
The tweeps who have mastered the art of 140 characters are questioning the editing effort put in the book. In that spirit #TweetLikeBonang is burning timelines with hilarious tweets based on the bad grammar in the book. Below are our top favs of this roast.
First sentence into Bonang’s book and the first mistake is her birthday is wrong pic.twitter.com/P0wKapEBVg
