The Summer Braai Fever has the whole of Zimbabwe in a frenzy. November weekends seem to be far from lacking a Braai event, kudos to Zim-based Radio Station Star FM for being knee deep in the mix of things. Whilst we here at ENTHUSE are still trying to recover from the monumental 12 ton #ZimBiggestBraai, some guys seem to have found inspiration to push this Braai thing way over the top.
Last Saturday there was the Lake Braai Festival at Lake Chivero and judging from the disoriented faces present at church services on Sunday morning, fun was had. This weekend promises to be one of further meat roasting at Spillway Mtangadura just outside of Ruwa. These guys are refusing us extra time to simply bond with our notes after our long queue experiences. The scorching Summer heat seems is not doing any favours to the Braai lovers, with temperatures rising as high as 300C . Then again this has not stopped the meat lovers from going on a fiery rampage.
Bindura had its fair share of meat gobbling on the 5th of November. All we can say is keep those tummies at empty as November promises to be filled with flesh eating festivals. These are sad days for our vegetarian friends.
With that said, Braai anyone?!
