The Zimbabwean Urban Dance movement Jibilika Dance Academy will host an event in Harare titled ‘BreakThaSilence ‘ under the theme
“The power of Dance in communicating the Rights of Girls and Dance as a tool for Girl Child Empowerment.”
The event is focused on interrogating the stereotypes attached to girls who take on Dance as a profession in honour of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence. Jibilika Dance Academy will be hosting a special Dance Class #Strictly4Girls (part 2) with Samantha Werner (Ohio, US) this Wednesday the 30th of November 2016. Check out the poster for more details.
