Poetry: Light My Fire

313 0

Light my fire
When it seems to be dying
Make it ever hot like the pools of lava
Let your kisses ignite that spark
When my hope has evaded and the blues have invaded

When we old and freckled let us be
Like the fiery logs and rub against each other and let out fiery sparks
That shoot up to the ancient Skies
And proclaim our undying love

When my heart feels cold and void
Let your warm hands ignite the fire buried in my heart
Let it stir up my blood as it makes an adrenaline rush within me
When I seem lost and I cant find my way
Light my fire so I can find my way back to you
Your undying warmth and ignition is like an Opium
I feel silly , forever young , loved and I cant think straight
But I love it when you light my fire
