UMUNTU are the new cool kids on the Zimbabwean Music block merging Entertainment, Media, Production and a Digital Music Label. We are not just excited about the names associated with this new movement to date (they are keeping all the good stuff hush-hush for now) BUT also the organic indie/grunge/punk elements in their productions.
Watch their first visual-audio project under titled ‘Umuntu Sessions’ a series where they incorporate local artists to create some fresh musical content if we should say so ourselves. The first features T.Shoc and Zyon Black with a cut inspired by what they termed “the everyday struggles of Zimbabwean and African youth today.”
Admittedly we enjoyed the ‘woke elements of ‘Ndezvemusango’ which juxtapose social issues with relatable personal demons.
