Her real name is Latoya Buthelezi.

She is a real princess. Toya is the granddaughter of Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi and also great-great granddaughter of Zulu King, Dinuzulu kaCetshwayo.

At the age of nine she began learning to play piano and compose music. In 2009 she had graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with a degree in jazz piano.

She has her own record label, Delazy Entertainment.

She was nominated for Best International Act at the 2013 BET Awards.

She also took the title of Best Pop Album and Newcomer of the Year at the 2013 South African Music Awards.

She has her own genre which she calls J.E.H.P. This is a mixture of Jazz, Electro, Hip Hop and Pop.
