It goes without saying that Zimbabwean raised and Cape Town  based Indie-Soul Artist Gemma Griffiths is an #ENTHUSE favourite. Truth is, she makes it so easy for us to Stan her, she’s brilliant! Need some proof? Gemma just released her single and video for a little ‘ol track titled ‘Irony’ off her upcoming EP.

The video, which was shot in Cape Town is a minimalistic love story told entirely in reverse. It’s story-line, ironically (see what we did there?) is the end of a love story and the heartbreaking realisation of love lost.

True to the theme the vocals feature Gemma’s haunting vocals.

Oh yes, by the end of the song we were ready to chase after exes we never had into a rainy dark night right after we had cried into our pillows and binged on tubs of ice-cream! You’d almost believe that Gemma did not have a great time making it but you’d be wrong!
