Harare, Zimbabwe — Fresh from a recent headline show in Canada, Zimbabwean singer, songwriter and musician- Gemma Griffiths shares a brand new single, ‘GOLD’, out today on all digital streaming platforms. This release marks the fourth instalment of her forthcoming debut album GEMMA, due out May 23.
Produced by longtime collaborator and celebrated Zimbabwean beatmaker Manuchie, ‘GOLD’ is a gentle yet powerful ode to the city of Harare — the place where Gemma’s story began. With lush Afro-fusion textures, subtle alt-pop inflections, and her signature soul-stirring vocal, the track captures the beauty of belonging, the weight of memory, and the quiet strength of community.
