Ever heard about the Visa For Music Festival in Morrocco? It’s a unique event that celebrates the musical diversity of Africa and takes place in Rabat, often referred to as the “City of Light.” Scheduled for November 19 to 22, 2025, this festival offers a platform for artists to showcase their original music in 40-minute live performances.
Right now, there’s an open call for applications from performing artists. The festival reviews a large number of applications each year to select around 30 musical groups, providing a fantastic opportunity to connect with audiences and fellow artists from various backgrounds.
To be eligible, all group members must be over 18 and have been active for at least a year, with a track record of live performances. It’s also essential to secure your means of travel such as a Sponsorship or a Mobility Grant for travel costs, as the festival doesn’t cover these expenses. However, they do provide a stage, equipment, per-diems and accommodation for up to six members.
