Over the weekend Zimbabwean Comedian Doc Vikela (Victor Mpofu) got married to his traditional wife Nyasha Kazuru. The two who were traditionally married in 2017 waited to be able to host their dream nuptials and they did!
“We had our minds made up about what we wanted.. It was also a lot about what the bride wanted” , Doc Vikela told us.
Doc Vikela and Nyasha met through unlikely circumstances;
“if you can believe me, we met through a mutual friend in a combi back in 2014”, chuckled Doc Vikela.
Since then the duo has had two beautiful daughters and treated themselves and their family to a warm celebration.
“The wedding was beautiful, we intended to enjoy ourselves and we really did”, he concluded.
In what felt like a fairytale seasoned with epically honest family moments, the wedding was intimate and a lovely celebration of love. We’re still so chuffed we could be a part of that celebration of Black Love. Thanks to Tall Grass Media capturing moments from the ceremony.
