The Leaders for African Network (LAN), an organisation focused on Pan-Africanism, Contemporary African socio-economic, political issues as well African Cultural Conservatism made a call on their Facebook Page this week. This call is for Creative Contributors for an up-coming Anthology. Titled ‘Eight Days In November: Euphoria and experiences’ the anthology contribution will be published by LAN Readers, a subsidiary of LAN.

According to their call…

“the proposed collection will reflect on Zimbabwe’s unique civil-military aided transition that saw the exit of Robert Mugabe from the country’s political scene in what was tagged “The Operation Restore Legacy”

The Anthology is in response to the need to document the historical magnitude of experiences of said euphoria, the anticipation from citizens from the early morning of the 15th of November 2017 where Zimbabweans woke up to the news of a military crackdown of criminals around Robert Gabriel Mugabe, lasting until the 21st of November 2017 when he resigned.

This anthology, which will include creative short stories (non-fiction), aims to create a history of Zimbabwe, by Zimbabweans.
