Grammy Award winning reggae artist, Burning Spear, will be heading to Zimbabwe with his “One People Africa Tour” this October. The reggae roots artist will be performing at Glamis Arena in Harare on October 18, according to organisers of the tour Sound System Club and Friends of Jamaica.
Burning Spear‘s long awaited return to Africa has so far confirmed shows in Zimbabwe and South Africa, with a performance in Kenya also likely, but not yet officially confirmed.

Burning Spear has won two Grammy Awards for Best Reggae Album; one at the 42nd Grammy Awards in 2000 for Calling Rastafari, and one for 2009’s Jah Is Real. He has been nominated for a total of 12 Grammy Awards
According to the “One People Africa Tour” itinerary, Burning Spear will perform at Glamis Arena in Harare on the 18th of October 2024, followed by a performance at the Emperors’ Palace (The Park) in Johannesburg, South Africa the next day and the in Cape Tow at the Mhudi Wines Farm on the 20th of October.
Tickets for the concert in Zimbabwe are set to go on sale soon, while General Access tickets for both the South African concerts are priced at R400 on Ticketpro.
