After a painstaking wait for the revelation of the main act. Unplugged organisers have finally announced that Mas Musiq will headline the last edition of the festival this year. The event is ending the year the same way it returned, with a gifted South African DJ behind the decks and SA artists have headlined 3 out of the 4 editions this year.
Mas Musiq is a South African DJ and producer, born and raised in Tembisa. He is famously known for his hit songs ‘Zaka’ featuring Aymos, Mthande featuring Riky Rick, Dj Maphorisa, Kabza De Small & Sha Sha & Sengizwile featuring Aymos and Young Stunna among others.
Late last year, Mas Musiq dropped his highly anticipated album “Auti ‘esharp”. The album features collaborations ifrom the likes of Babalwa M, Aymos, Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Young Stunna, Bongza, Nkulee501, Skroef 28, Snenaah, Sino Msolo, TO StarQuality, Madumane, Seekay, Daliwonga, Sir Trill, Major League DJZ, Nia Pearl, Soa mattrix, Tyler ICU, Corry Da Groove, Vyno Miller, Hypesoul, Reece Madlisa, Zuma, Mpura, Vigro Deep.
The last edition of the Unplugged festival is being hosted at Greendale Sports Club in Harare, which played host to the last event headlined by Costa Titch. Mas Musiq is set to be supported by Kyla Blac, Gemma Griffiths, Voltz JT and Enzo Ishall.
