Intwasa Arts Festival partners with Zimbabwe Musicians Union

Intwasa Arts Festival koBulawayo has partnered with Zimbabwe Musicians Union (ZMU) for its upcoming edition this September.

The  collaboration will be centred on two key events: Women, Wine and Words – a vibrant celebration of women’s voices through music & spoken word, and Gender at Work Conference & Discussions – tackling inclusion, empowerment & gender issues in the arts.

“The partnership aligns with Intwasa’s mission to produce a festival that encompasses mass celebration of diversity and creativity, promoting excellence in Zimbabwe’s arts and culture,” read part of the festival’s press statement.

The 2025 edition of the Intwasa Arts Festival  will be hosted from the 24th to the 27th of September.

Founded in 2004, the festival provides platforms that celebrate the diversity of human cultures & creation in the following disciplines: music, film, spoken word, theatre, dance, literary arts, fashion & crafts. The festival is hosted in the city of Bulawayo.
