Be in the moment is a phrase we all have heard, and we’d like to follow, but life seems to get in the way! Who can be in the moment when there are bills to be settled, laundry to be worked out, beds to be made! In our fast-paced lives, being in “the moment” seems to get shoved aside for the “to do” lists and life’s demands.
It is critical to first figure out what the word moment means. Maybe by defining it, we might be able to align ourselves with trying it.
Moment, as a noun, is defined as, a very brief period of time, an exact point in time, an appropriate time for doing something, an opportunity, or a particular stage in something’s development or in a course of events. It sounds like the very meaning of the word, moment is confused by exactly what it is. It’s no marvel we pass by them without actually considering what they are doing there in the first place.
Confused yet? It seems that being in the moment compels us to be able to define what, and which moments, we should be “in” in our lives. If we take these rationales and apply them to everyday living, who is to say which moment is worth being in? So, let’s filter them through our Father, the One who knows us better than we know ourselves, and see what a Godly moment may be.

Award-winning musician and The Redeemed talk show host Janet Manyowa is bringing the city of Harare to a climactic winter worship with her Worship Moments with Janet Manyowa concert set for this weekend.
Manyowa, a voice of worship who continues to humbly use herself as a vessel of praise, will also premiere her long-awaited single Tinomutenda Nei, first single since she dropped the much-acclaimed Zadzisa. The single comes at a time when the musician is preparing to release her sophomore album Grateful.
Posting about the nocturnal worship affair on her official site the musician who houses a wonderful, bubbly spirit that draws fans, wrote:

A mover and a shaker who held the gospel music industry by storm since her debut, fans have every right to be elated about this the Worship Moments with Janet Manyowa.
Last December she lived up to her billing when she orchestrated a polished act during the Concert with Janet show held at Celebration Centre in Borrowdale. The Zadzisa hitmaker’s sterling performance left worshippers clamouring for more during the power-packed concert, where she shared the stage with fellow gospel acts Michael Mahendere, Sharon Manyonganise, Sabastian Magacha, and Tembalami.
Worship Moments with Janet Manyowa is happening at The Venue, Avondale, 23 Kenny Road, Harare, Zimbabwe this Saturday, June 23. It’s kicking off at 1800 to 2100hrs.
