The Bible declares in Titus 2:11-12, “11)
“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12) Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;”
The Church of today is marked by many believers that profess Grace to have become a crafty avenue for them to sin: That insurance policy that allows them to be reckless, if you may. But Grace is not so. True Grace, as it is revealed in the above scriptures, does not only appear; but appears to become a teacher unto us.
Verse 12 of Titus- the 2nd Chapter- declares,
“Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.”
This stands to reason that the logic of the false grace message is in reverse, the grace that has become an excuse for sin, is actually the same grace that teaches us to live righteously and godly! When you encounter his grace, you do not want to sin, you find that you just want to be like Jesus!
It is therefore my prayer for you today, may God reveal to you the true nature of the grace he has covered you with!
