The Bible declares in 1 Corinthians 16:14,
“Let all your things be done with charity. Let all that you do be done with love.”
Love is something that is inherent in all man to seek, yet many fail to define, let alone identify what it really is… In this series, we will get into the topic of love, and empower the seeking believer with ancient knowledge that will deliver them and realign them to the standard of God’s Word, as it pertains to love.
The greatest act of God towards humanity was the offspring of love…God so loved the world that He gave His Son. Without love, we are emotionally and spiritually dead.
“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because WE LOVE the brethren. ..He that LOVETH not his brother abideth in death” -1 John 3:14.
If you do not LOVE the brethren, God says you are spiritually dead!
Emotion is not love. There is a difference between love and lust. Love gives and lust takes.
Love is not to be confused with duty. Many men say, I work hard and provide food, clothing, and shelter for my family. That’s proof that I love them.” That’s not showing your love, it’s merely doing your duty according to 1 Timothy 5:8, “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.”
As we continue with this love series, my prayer is that God would cause His love to richly dwell in you, that you would be a living apostle for all men to read of the goodness of God!!!
Blessed things are spoken of you!!!
