The National Gallery of Zimbabwe launches as series of the First Fridays and this month it promises to be fired up! You must be wondering why, let me give you a highlights of what will make it fun and why.
The initiative of the event is to present Alternative Music into a Gallery atmosphere as a way of creating space for Art and Music lovers so they can experience an evening of diverse Genres of music in the unusual setup. It also promises to give a platform for networking and of course a good time, which is a great way to end a Friday after work and a hectic week.
The headline act for the launch are the dynamic and experimental Hip Hop trinity, the Monkey Nuts who will blast us with a mix of Rock, Hip Hop and Afro-Electro Music. Almost guaranteeing a blend of Music which attracts and relates to people from different cultures.
There’s also a little treat for all the Arts lovers at the launch. When we caught Zvikomborero Mandangu for a chat he said that Pop-up Art sale would take place on the evening consisting of affordable artworks from a wide variety of Visual Artists.
