Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, the Scorpion Kings, are set to perform at the Harare Hippodrome on Friday the 22nd of November. This will be amapiano duo’s first ever performance in Harare together.
Organised by Mashwede, the concert comes after mediation between the Vic Falls Carnival and the Scorpion Kings, ending a dispute that had lasted over 2 years and opening the way for the amapiano duo to freely perform in Zimbabwe once again.
Vic Falls Carnival is pleased to announce a successful and amicable resolution in the recent legal matter involving Themba Sekowe (DJ Maphorisa), Kabelo Motha (Kabza De Small), Charmaine Shamiso Mapimbiro (Shasha), and Lawk Communications. With the expert guidance of Tailormade Legal Solutions and the skilled facilitation of Mashwede Holdings, both parties have reached a mutually beneficial agreement, paving the way for future collaboration. – Brent Williamson, Vic Falls Carnival Director
The Scorpion Kings are set to be supported by Tamy Moyo, Holy Ten, Master H, Chillspot, MC Tatts, DJ Iroq, Rax The DJ, Ryan Synth, and Selekta Base.
Tickets for the concert are currently on sale in Harare from Mashwede (Highglen and the Head Office in Arcadia), Booties (Eastgate and Highland Park), and Chicken Inn (Pomona, Braeside, Marimba, Sports Diner, Msasa Main and Machipisa). In Bulawayo tickets are available at Booties (Fort Street and Robert Mugabe Way).
