The Kingdom Tour has been at the centre of a social media storm in recent weeks, with conspiracy circulating on anything and everything. The withdrawal of the supporting acts for the Harare leg of the tour only added fuel to that fire, leading to some unease among gospel music fans. However event organisers have unveiled replacements.
Vocal Ex, Ezekiel Paul, Joyfull Praise and Covenant Praise have been announced as the new supporting acts for the concert. The quartet of gospel acts will be replacing Annatoria, Takesure Zamar, Tembalami and The Unveiled, who pulled out of the concert earlier in the month. Nigerian gospel singer Tim Godfrey is also set to be among the performers.
The Kingdom Tour concert will see Grammy Award winners Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Music performing in Harare, Zimbabwe on the 12th of August 2024 at the Glamis Arena. This will be one leg of the global tour that will also see them perform in around 10 cities across the African continent. The multiple award-winning Gospel music musos will also be performing at venues across Africa, Asia and Europe.
Tickets for the event are currently on sale from Booties Pharmacies, Innovative Technologies, and Techtools.
