The Creative Economy Week Zimbabwe, an initiative by the British Council in support of the arts industry, will be kicking off this week in Harare. Running from 1 – 4 March, the 4 day event will offer a captivating week of carefully curated events that highlight the crucial role of creativity, collaboration, and innovation in fostering sustainable, dynamic, and inclusive growth. This initiative is dedicated to spotlighting Zimbabwe’s rich creative and cultural landscape, showcasing its significant contributions to the global creative economy.
The events, open to everyone, will bring together industry professionals, policymakers, artists, and entrepreneurs. Notable highlights include conversations on the convergence of fashion and technology, as well as captivating moments in music, poetry, and cultural heritage featuring some of our past and current programme participants.
