Multi award winning photographer, Tamary Kudita’s photograph titled ‘Thoughts of a Black Man’ has been acquired by the prestigious Harn Museum of Art for their permanent collection. The work had it’s debut at “The Harn at 35: Recent Photography Acquisitions” exhibit.

Kudita captured the work in 2022 and it was first unveiled to the world as part of her “Birds of Paradise” exhibition.

“In this image, I aimed to create an intimate feel through my portrayal of beauty and my use of color and composition. My goal was also to illuminate positive subtextual meanings of race and identity, while simultaneously showcasing the human capacity to experience imagination, possibility, and hope. Feeling blessed!” shared the photographer on the work.
