Award-winning DJ, producer, and cultural icon, DBN Gogo, is set to make history this April, as the first female DJ in South Africa to perform a 24-hour DJ set. The DJ will attempt the feat from midnight on Saturday, 4 April 2026, through to midnight on Sunday, 5 April 2026.
At its core, this moment is about building brand legacy, creating space for artistic evolution, and setting a new benchmark for live performance on the continent.
“I’m beyond excited to make history with this 24-hour set. I want everyone to be part of this journey with me. Let’s dance, celebrate, and create unforgettable memories together, from the first beat to the very last,” stated the DJ
“This isn’t just a DJ set, it’s a marathon of music, energy, and community. I can’t wait to share it with all my supporters. Bring your energy, your love for music, and let’s make history together!”
Ranked as South Africa’s most streamed female DJ, with multiple tracks surpassing one million streams on global Spotify, DBN Gogo has always dedicated herself to pushing boundaries. The first weekend of April is set to see her deliver an out-of-body musical experience that reflects her position as South Africa’s leading DJ, allowing her to challenge both her artistic and physical limits.
Throughout the 24-hour journey, DBN Gogo will be joined by major industry DJs, collaborating across select moments to create a dynamic, high-energy experience that celebrates community and the power of South African music culture.
The DJ is following in the footsteps of Black Coffee, who performed for 60 hours in 2010 for the launch of the Black Coffee Foundation.
Further details including venue, ticketing, and supporting information will be announced in due course.
