At 42 years old, your ‘normal’ woman (as dictated by society) will be focused on making sure that her kids get ready for college or she might be at the pinnacle in as far as her career is concerned. Nonhlanhla Qwabe is woman proud of her comfortable in her own skin not ashamed of showing herself off. You might know here as Skolopad, a house and kwaito artists. Better yet, you might remember her as the unknown lady in the very revealing yellow dress who broke the internet the recently held Metro FM Awards.
Skolopad was not afraid show off her thighs and behind as the paparazzi snapped away. It seems like it has been so since the beginning of her career in 2014. She caused waves in 2015 when women from her town, Qwaqwa in the Free State, complained that she was exposing herself indecently and the men rushed to her defence.
Surprisingly Skolopad is a nurse and she is also a mother to a 16 year old. She claims that house is he passion and with the moves she drops on stage, it is pretty evident. She twerks better than your ‘sweet 16’ faves (yeah we said it). We are quite proud by the effoerts she puts in her career. You might feel like she is too old to be throwing around such antics, but what’s age to someone’s passion. If Halle Berry can flaunt her booty to your excitement what about this African Queen?
Skolopad juggles her job, motherhood and her career which is a huge feat that we should congratulate her for. Let her flourish and be the next diva half naked ion the cover of vogue or any other leading magazines. If Boity and Khanyi Mbau can do it, why not Skolopad!
She released a new track during the week after the incident at the awards titled Umzimba Wakho, which she says is about being comfortable in your skin and your body. Well, we guess she is really comfortable in her body!
