Music and food will once again be brought together this weekend, under the global Coca Cola food festival concept in collaboration with Unplugged Zimbabwe. Set for Saturday 7 December, the event will be headlined by the Queen of Amapiano, Sha Sha. A fitting star for the occasion, as Unplugged’s roots have long been steeped in celebrating local talent.
Alongside the global superstar will be “Handipere Power” hitmaker Nutty O, gifted percussionist Wowrae, Afropop & Soul singer IAREE, and “Silas Mavende” hitmaker SaintFloew. On the decks will be DJ Rimo, DJ Fujee and TK Beats.
Complimenting the music will be a wide array of food stalls offering up innovative culinary experiences, along with food demonstrations. It’s set to be a sensory experience that kicks off December just right.
The festival will once again be hosted at First Capital Bank Sports Club in Mt Pleasant, and it’ll be running from 2 pm to 10 pm.
Advance tickets are currently sale, with ordinary tickets going for $10 each and Chill Zone tickets for $50.
