This past weekend Bulawayo native Sakhile Dube walked away with Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2024 crown, seeing off 17 other contestants at the finals of the pageant, held at the Harare Hippodrome.
Dube is now set to represent the country at the 2024 Miss Universe pageant, scheduled for Mexico later this year. In addition to that honour, the model received a brand-new 2020 Mercedes-Benz C200 vehicle and $10,000 in prize money to be shared between her and her princesses.

Held on Saturday, the Miss Universe Zimbabwe finals had Misred and Ruvheneko as hosts. Former First Lady Grace Mugabe was among the panel of judges, alongside Miss South Africa 2022, Ndavi Nokeri, Hilda Mabu, Kevin “The Wedding Planner” Zhou, Taku Mhlanga, and Brita Masalethulini.
Sakhile Dube has had a half decade long career in professional modelling. The Bulawayo fashion model has previously held the titles of Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2020, Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2022, Miss Supranational Africa, and Supra Top Model in 2023.
