Founder and General Overseer of Charisma Ministries International in Lusaka Zambia, Prophet Ian Genesis, has suffered a huge blow after it has been reported that he has been swindled over $10,000 by a prominent Ugandan Bishop, the Zambian Observer established.
Reports are that the youthful cleric was allegedly duped by one Bishop Kedi Patrick a Ugandan pastor based in Nairobi, Kenya.
It is the medium’s understanding that prophet Genesis was invited by the said Bishop for a three-day conference dubbed the Prophetic Fire Conference and inside reports, are that he started performing miracles even before the conference started.
One that shocked many Kenyans was what he promised before heading to Nairobi. He told the people via his Facebook live video that when he arrives in Kenya it would rain heavily and true to his word upon touch down of the flight at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, it began to rain heavily for two hours when as a matter of fact it isn’t rainy season and after that day it didn’t rain again.
Another shocking miracle performed by the Zambian prophet was a healing of a woman who couldn’t walk for eighteen years and proof of the healing is posted on both his YouTube and Facebook.
Unfortunately, although he did all that in good faith his counterpart Bishop Patrick had other intentions in mind.
According to an eyewitness at the hotel in Kenya, prophet Genesis’ name was being used by the said Bishop to collect money from both people abroad and local in a bid to book one-on-one appointments on their behalf.
Police who were on the scene wanted to arrest the bishop but Genesis was not ready to press any charges.
He even went on and paid the hotel bill which Bishop Patrick failed to settle. The hotel also revealed that he was still owing them for two more guests that came earlier.
When contacted by Genesis via Whatsapp before the police were involved in the matter, Kedi Patrick said he was going to meet the prophet to drop his passport which is believed to have been used to make people know that he was indeed working with instructions from the prophet.
However, later, when the Genesis revealed that he had run away and advised him to think his actions through or he may regret, the bishop replied
“I regret all this affair!”
